4th Mobile Throwing Competition

11 a.m. | Tundikhel

Mobile phone throwing is an international sport that had started from Finland in the year 2000.  Finns came up with idea to organize a competition of throwing the mobile phones with which they supposed to throw away their frustration; not only just to make them feel better but in the name of recreation.  It is a sport in which participants throw mobile phones and are judged on distance or technique.

Mobile Phone Throwing is light and modern Finnish sport that suits for people of all ages. It combines recycling philosophy and fun spirit in active sport. A part of the philosophy is also a spiritual freedom from being available all the time.

Since then this competition has been organized in the countries like Czech Republic (2012), United States (2008), Spain (2009), Liechtenstein (2010) Belgium (2010) UK (2005),  Switzerland (2005) and others. In 2015, for the very first time in Nepal, Rotary Club of Rudramati, Club No. 64062, RI Dist. 3292 is organizing Mobile Phone Throwing Competition for Rural Communication on the occasion of its 12th Charter Day Anniversary and new-year 2015.
