The Rotaract Club of Manohara was formally chartered on 27 April 2010. In its glorious ten years of establishment, the club has become a known name in the district rotaract fraternity and in the community with its association with other rotaract clubs, and consistent and engaging projects.
With a total of twenty six members, the Club is operating under the parent club, Rotary Club of Rudramati and shares an amicable bond with sister clubs, Rotaract Club of Rudramati and Rotaract Club of Rudramati Babarmahal. The Club upholds the principle of Rotary International and is moving ahead with a vision of addressing the challenges/issues of the community through volunteerism and alongside building the professional and leadership skills of its members.
RAC Manohara has conducted many diverse and relevant projects over the years. It believes in the power of unity and thus; be it on the Burunchuli Project, Gorkha Project or other small projects, it has always moved together with Rotary and other Rotaract Clubs.
Speaking of its sole projects, the signature programs of Club “Sahitik Saajh” have been a platform for the aspiring writers and literature lovers to come together and celebrate literature. Besides, the club has been on the forefront with community projects like tree plantation programs, educational sessions, health camps, blood donation programs and so on. For the professional growth of its members, the club has been conducting programs like public speaking sessions, MS Office trainings, entrepreneurship sessions etc.
Thus, community service and fellowship has always been the driving force of RAC Manohara which keeps the club going.
